8 year old Quarter Horse Gelding

Handsome, intelligent, athletic & willing. "Joe" has a terrific temperament. Gives 100%. Quick to learn, understand, advance - whatever the exercise. Solid build, naturally talented, truly versatile.

Started Dressage - Sensitive to a light snaffle, light aids. Uses his back, rounds up with ease, great impulsion. Enjoys this kind of work. Accepts very subtle queues.

Fabulous on the trails. Ride in a snaffle –(alone or with others). Trained to jump obstacles, cross creeks, rocky terrain, hear gunshots, etc! Bombproof. Takes care of his rider.

Joe was trained on a working ranch in Texas. Verbal & seat cues, with a mild snaffle bit. Handles well, neck reins beautifully, stops on a dime. Experienced in the round pen, natural horsemanship.

Manners- travels well, clips, bathes, ties, stands, etc.

Why selling? Rider injured her ankle/leg while lifting boxes. She’s unable to keep him in training. We don't want him to lose ground. Wouldn’t be parting with him otherwise.

To reach his potential, Joe needs a rider with some experience, as he’s sensitive & eager to please.
