20 year old Arabian Gelding

Bob is a bright eyed-gentle yet energetic horse. You would never know by looking at him that he is 17 years old (pictures show heavy winter coat still - sheds out real sleek). He is UTD on 4-1, WNV and Coggins. He just had his teeth floated (full tetanus w/float) and sheath cleaned. Professionally trained and shown in English hunt and Western pleasure (great transitions yet also does a wonderful smooth rocking lope). He would be great for an intermediate rider who is just entering the show ring & looking for that veteran show horse to learn English hunt, pleasure, dressage or Western pleasure. I aquired Bob October of '04 and in November of '04 a good friend passed away and left me his wonderful APHA Gelding which I am keeping due to a promise and sentimental value. I need to sell Bob as he too needs to be ridden and loved. He has a lot to give an intermediate rider. He lives around cattle and houses directly with 3 large dogs. Would be excellent for 4-H! Trims, clips, loads and bathes.

He is currently in Southern Indiana. Bob is very submissive with other horses. If bullied he will run first, if cornered he will defend himself, but, he is never the aggressor. He has pastured with both mares and geldings. If you have a place for Bob - call me -let's talk! I am not interested in trading.

After speaking to several previous owners I have just found out (9/15/05) Bob has never been on trail. I had been told he had (by the people I bought him from.) That statement was false. I apologize to anyone who previously viewed this ad prior to this correction. Bob is a great road, pasture and arena horse. And has far more English training than I first realized. I have lowered the price from the original $1250.00 to a firm $950 due to the fact he is not a trail horse (therefore not as versatile as I thought) but, he is still a GREAT well trained show and pleasure horse as well as a lesson horse.
